Sohail Akhtar is faculty at the National University of Modern Languages, Islamabad, specializing in Ethnic-Nationalist Politics, conflict zones, and borderlands. Holding an MPhil degree in Pakistan Studies from Quaid-I-Azam University, his research focuses on Ethnic-Nationalist narratives and security issues. With a strong command of research methodologies, Mr. Akhtar combines quantitative and qualitative approaches, such as surveys, interviews, and focus group discussions, to provide valuable insights and analysis. Beyond academia, Sohail Akhtar has contributed to reputable publications, including Dawn, South Asian Voices, and STRAFASIA. Additionally, he has been involved in consultancy projects with the Planning Commission Islamabad, further enriching his expertise in development and social science research.
