Umar Rashid is a PhD candidate at Adelaide Law School, University of Adelaide, and advocate High Court, Pakistan. He received his LLB from the University of London (UK) and his LLM from the New York University School of Law (USA) as a Fulbright Scholar. At NYU, he earned a Dean’s Graduate Award and was the Mamdouha Bobst Global Scholar. His research interests are public international law, global governance, refugee law, human rights, comparative constitutional law and legal theory.
