On 24 September 2022, CEI organised a Climate Crisis Simulation for university students from the University of Lahore (UoL) and LUMS to encourage critical thinking about climate change-related policy issues.
The crisis simulation exercise served to:
- Assess how the State of Pakistan may respond to natural disasters;
b. Evaluate the functionality of institutional decision-making processes;
c. Examine how informed decision-making can take place in high-pressure crisis scenarios;
d. Evaluate the capacity and quality of policy-making of university students in Pakistan; and
e. Enhance interest in policy-making among university students.
