Project Overview
RSIL served as a consultant to the British Council, Pakistan on a project funded by the European Union that focused on improving parliamentary performance in Pakistan through various legislative and capacity building initiatives.
Project Outcomes
A training manual was prepared by RSIL for parliamentarians which provided guidelines on the role of parliamentarians to assist in strengthening the human rights framework in Pakistan. This was followed by several capacity building exercises for parliamentarians in partnership with the Ministry of Human Rights and the British Council, Pakistan.
