Iqra Bano Sohail works as a Research Associate at RSIL Islamabad. She completed her LLB (Hons) from the University of London and was awarded Achievement Awards for being one of the highest performing students in both Criminal and Contract Law around the globe. As a Research Associate, she is primarily involved in work on business and human rights along with counter-terrorism and anti-money laundering regimes in Pakistan. She is also playing the role of a Coordinator for the TILS RSIL Undergraduate Skills Training (TRUST) Program.
Prior to acquiring a position of a research associate, Iqra interned at RSIL for 3 months. Additionally, she also interned at Sohail Law Firm. As a volunteer, she assisted in research for the Expeditious Justice Initiative (Model Courts) which proved to be a milestone in the judicial history of Pakistan.
During her undergraduate program, she also served as the Co-President of the TILS Law Society while participating in various mock trials and attending an Advocacy Training Program and a Legal Training Course.
