Izhaan Ali Shah
About
Izhaan Ali Shah is a Research Associate at RSIL, Islamabad. He has worked in and has substantive knowledge in the areas of Anti-money laundering, Geo-economics, Counter-terrorism financing, Business and Human Rights, Cyber laws, and the Data Protection Regime.
Moreover, Mr. Shah is a Research Associate at the Centre of Excellence for International Law (CEIL), at National Defence University’s Institute for Strategic Studies, Research and Analysis (ISSRA). He manages comprehensive research there on International law and its importance for Pakistan. Additionally, he proposes reforms for Pakistan’s legal regime in order to be more in line with the present International law regime.
Before joining RSIL, Izhaan completed his LLB from the University of London, where in the course of his studies, he received an academic achievement award. After his graduation, he worked at the Attorney-General Office under the direct supervision of Additional Attorney-General Tariq Khokhar both at the Islamabad High Court and the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
