Mr. Majid worked as a Civil Judge-cum-Judicial Magistrate for 14 years with the Lahore High Court, Lahore before re-starting his legal practice.

Mr. Majid Bashir also holds a bachelors degree in law and post-graduation diplomas in intellectual property laws with distinction, industrial relation laws and taxation laws from Punjab University, Lahore. He also holds a master degree in intellectual property laws, corporate laws from WIPO -University of Turin, Italy. He is the National Consultant of WIPO for Pakistan. He is also a fellow of World Intellectual Property Organization, International Labor Organization, Global Intellectual Property Academy (USA) and other similar bodies.

His specialized areas of practice include intellectual property laws, sports and entertainment laws, child abduction, international royalty collection and international patent, design & trade mark filing, commercial and corporate laws.
